For this project, I wanted to take the concept of simplicity and minimalism and put those Ideas into a landscape with an abstract and modern looking house. I really had fun using my imagination to represent many of the things I love. I wanted to show my love for quiet and simple things like the boy fishing and the sailboat and contrast that with the city feel of the modern house. I definitely could have utilized my dark values better but I am overall satisfied with this drawing and I really feel like I expressed who I am in this picture.
